What to See & Do in Nairne
Nairne has
a lot to offer.
There are interesting businesses and shops set in historic buildings, as well as regular shops such
as a foodmart & newsagency, and take-away food shops.

You can browse through a wonderful selection of antiques by visiting the fascinating Upstairs, Downstairs antique store or visit The Bear Mania Craft Studio.
Catch a bargain at The Nairne Market, housed in the historic old Police Station with the old cells out the back! Sit and relax on the handcrafted redgum benches on Old Gumtree corner, where the paving bricks tell a story of Nairne's heritage or visit one of Nairne's famous Hotels.

After you've cruised all of these, you can tour around the town looking at the other historic buildings in the township. There is a brochure to guide you through a historic walk available from the Adelaide Hills Tourist Information office in Hahndorf, or from selected shops in Nairne.
Then visit the wonderful nursery The Flower Garden, where you can stroll amongst the beautiful rose gardens and purchase David Austin roses, Hydrangeas and premium outdoor and conservatory furniture ranges such as Dedon, Cotsworld teak, Vincent Sheppard, Fermob and Jardin.
