OPTIMISTIC KIDS 'POSITIVE ATTITUDES FOR LIFE' - BEGINS THURSDAY 14/10/2010 Optimistic Kids trains children in resilience and depression prevention. The skills taught in theOptimistic Kids program lead to boosted self belief, reduced risk of depression, and increased ability to handle everyday challenges and setbacks. The program is designed for children in Years 4 to 7 and runs for 10 sessions over a 10 week period. Simon Andrews and Karen Davies, registered clinical psychologists with extensive experience with children, run the program. Private health rebates apply under Psychology Services, usually found in Extras Cover. Medicare rebates apply in some circumstances. When: Begins Thursday 14th October 2010
